Cats, Moggies, our Feline Friends

Not too far from where i live in Battersea there is a shop on Latchmere road.  In the shop window, I have noticed that a cat would often be sleeping in the window.   I have finally got a photo of said moggy.  But see where it sleeping!  It could not find an open space in the window and chose to sleep on top of the screwdrivers.  Fortunately, the blades are pointing down.  How comfortable is that cat?  I cannot say but she was sound asleep when I took the photo.

I should check again and see if she is still sleeping in the same place.

And over the last few years I have take an few pictures of cats.

From this past April when I was in Japan.  I went to meet a friend in Kamakura; we were getting some traditional culture in and visiting temples.  We met up in a Tea House and I noticed this cat sleeping in a basket in the restaurant window.  But this looks like a designated cat sleeping area unlike where the cat slept n Battersea.

And here is a cat from Argentina.  I was with my friends Steve and Mariana and we went to a graveyard in Recoleta.  And there is clutter of cats that live there.  This little chap I simply call scruffy cat.  He probably has never slept in a nice basket like the cat in Japan.  Scruffy he may be but he is a cute little thing.  This photo was taken in 2005 when I was visiting there.

I was talking about cats with my friend Sharon.  And she sent me this great photo of her and her cat Mija.
